Shop, Eat and Walk down memory lane with the cousins, JB

This was a planned trip with the cousins. One was attending the BIL's engagement, and another one is to bring the wife to JB for the first time. And since our grandparents' place are in the final process of selling (i'm so, so sad...) we thought we should go and pay our last respect to the good old house. I had so much fun and since we don't get this kind of opportunity very often, i just had to put most pictures in!

The Shopping Activity
My husband and I arrived a day earlier and met up with Mr. & Mrs. Freen and their daughter, Lil M at JPO (the rave of JB town now, the Johor Premium Outlet). We had sort of a late night at my parents' house, but everyone were so semangat and got up early the next morning to start our activities, especially my eldest brother. We started the day with some retail therapy, doing some DVD shopping at Holiday Plaza. It was 10.15am when we arrived but most shops were still closed! HP is something like Low Yat but with funky disco attire and lots of fake LVs, Chanels, Guccis and the likes, cheap electronic accessories and DVDs are sold.

At JPO with Mr. & Mrs. Freen and Lil M. I have been here before so i wasn't really checking out the place but merely "teman"ing the cousins and hanging out at the coffee place there and got some candies.

Buying cheap phone accessories and dvds at HP and 2nd trip to JPO.
(Someone burst his button on his pants and had to get one immediately. Lol).

Gastronomic Activity
Another main agenda for that weekend was to EAT! The favourite ABC at Wisma Ayer Molek is always on top of the list among us! Known as "Gerai Batu" by some locals, it's where our late Tok Bak used to bring us for an evening treat! I've blogged abt it here before. We also had the famous Mee Rebus Haji Wahid and some Yong Taufu soup at Angsana. Had Tip Top ikan bakar for dinner too as one of them was craving for it (also featured in the same blog entry as the one featuring the ABC). Husband and i left early after dinner on Saturday as we would have to start our journey back to KL very early the next day. The rest went to Danga Bay for some funfair fun.

Eating our hearts out. One of the must do in JB.

Visiting the (late) Don's House - probably for the last time.
We started taking pictures in the almost empty rooms, reminiscing old memories, filling in fibs and tales to the inlaws of the happenings in the past that took place in the house as soon as we arrive.. The good old days.. *sniffs
Us taking a picture in late grandpa's room, in the living hall where we used to "tidur lambak" when everyone comes back for Raya or on school breaks and one in the garden where my cousin had to take home a banana tree as requested by the mom. It was successful only after the second attempt. Hehe.

More of us taking fun, silly photos.
Bottom left is a picture of the husband looking on at the 3 cousins posing in the room they used to watch "Ultraman" together! ;) Notice that there's an air quote. Hehehe

The house has been up for sale for a while and it was almost sold some time ago before our grandma changed her mind... I was somehow hoping that it would stay that way as i'd hate to see the place taken over by somebody else and having to see the place being done differently. But now it's finally happening.. I could very much understand how my grandmother feels. She has stayed there for 40 over years! How could you separate with something that has been with you that long? I was in tears too when they told us that they were selling the house at first. How could i not? I practically grew up in that house. My grandpa would take us almost every weekend to stay with them. It's like our (school) holiday house too! Our playground, growing up. It has been a major part of my life and holds so many bittersweet memories... (but that's life right? All these material things will mean nothing eventually, when the time comes to be called to meet the Creator).

I'm sure gonna miss the house so much.
It's a shame the 4th generation of En. Md. Said will never get to know the place.

It was a fun weekend and i look forward to trips like this again, Insya Allah.

City of Motorcycles (and crazy cabbies) and great spirit.

How did i miss this? I have no idea that this was not published. I'm aware that i have been abandoning the blog for some time but this was actually written! I had to re-write the entry to make it less outdated. Anyways, this is about the city of Ho Chi Minh f.k.a.Saigon. A city i visited in 2010.

It was actually my second visit. The first time being a couple of months before when i went to accompany a friend on a short stay.

This time though, i thought i'd go with the husband to help me with some load, hehehe. And to say my thanks, i took him to places where i knew he would definitely enjoy ;) Places i saw from the first visit and thought of him instantly (and then with the help from google, of course). I don't really know the place that well. In fact, it's rather quite the opposite since i was worried that the cabby would dump us in the middle of nowhere - more than once - because we couldn't come to terms with him on the fare! The cabbies were a nutcase! Let me just warn u here.

I've made a point to keep the address of the places we were heading to from biz cards and receipts i have collected from the earlier trip to show them to the cabbies since, well, i don't speak Vietnamese and they don't speak/understand English too well so they would look at these addresses and said, "OK!" (with such confidence too, if i may add!). And then, they ended up going in circles, even to the point asking other people and told us to get into another cab but we still have to pay them in FULL! Wtf! I was at a boiling point going back from the Cu-Chi Tunnel but tried to remain calm especially after seeing so many Americans were killed by the Vietkongs at Cu-Chi. Mind you, the cab meters were showing at two zeros or so, that's in our RM, not peanuts! With the help of a diagram drawn by the Mr. with such lack of patience (and artistic flair), we manage to level with the crazy cabbies in the end. I'm just thankful we got back to the hotel safely -__-"

[Some word of advice: Do NOT try not to be too adventurous or too thrifty. Just pay extra and hire a tour guide for the sightseeing and save the huge headache!]

Now, i have never seen so many motorbikes in my entire life! They carry almost everything on these bikes too! From a bundle of nice smelling steamed sweet-corns to livestocks to a mountain of crops and breads, even a 2-door refrigerator! Can you imagine that? I didn't get to photograph all this (because i was busy being too worried in the cabs) but i promise you some the next time, if time permits. I also honestly do not know how i would manage to cross the roads in the City without my husband by my side as you have to be really and i mean REALLY Gung-ho to brave the bikes! It was so scary. One more thing about the people here.. they honk about every 4 seconds, maybe 2! It's just nuts! But they are very hardworking people! Children of all ages are selling something and they sell anything almost everywhere. They would park their bikes at the side of the road and sell chickens. The place doesn't have to be strategic or appropriate. They carry businesses wherever they seem fit, so to speak. They are such survivors.. i just admire the energy! And it made me realise how lucky we are to be living in a country with lots of privileges.

I shall leave you to some photos taken during the visit now. Mostly of us, though. As the ones of the other people are mostly blurred. Sorry.
Above: My guide for crossing the roads :)
The city was showered with lights as it was only days away from CNY.
Below: Me in front of an exquisite building. Served once as a community hall. I think it's a hotel now.
Very much influenced by French architecture.

At the War Remnants Museum:

Who doesn't love big tanks, yes? Hehe

Some sick photos of cruelty and inhumanity:

This one has a caption: Mostly women and babies. They looked as if they tried to get away.
So heartbreaking ;(

..more of women and babies.. they look like they're innocently asleep.

Left: local victims being dragged by a tank leaving them without a face. How cruel is that?!
Right: an inhumane soldier proudly holding up whatever is left of a human body.

The prison.
There were only one cell on each side of the original building left and some drawings were made to reflect the cells during the war (the doors behind us was just a drawing).
They even had human figures of the real prisoners from back then made and placed in the cell. Very creepy.
The 2 cages above are being used to stuff 5 prisoners and 3 prisoners in a cage respectively all at once.

At Cu-chi (pronounced "Khu-chee") Tunnel:
This was the highlight of the trip. One of the most memorable place i've ever visited.
Top left: me in one of the tunnel (that has been widen)
Centre (first row): me with a hole made for shooting enemies from below
Far right: the guy in green (guide) was showing us the few types of booby traps
Bottom (2nd from right): Air vents that was built similar to an ant hill
Bottom (far right): us having ubi rebus with ground peanuts and sugar. A taste of the staple food during the war.

We went down to Level 2 of the tunnel for only about 10 metres which was about 6m deep and were panting like mad before we even reach the exit!
[i couldn't help but notice that my husband's t-shirt was very cu-chi appropriate!]

The tunnel took 20 years to complete and was dug only by using small hoes and baskets. Built very systematically, it consists of 3 levels that held up to 6 underground villages, complete with hospitals, meeting rooms, resting areas, kitchens, family rooms, wells and emergency water escapes. The doors to the tunnels were made of special wood that expands when in contact with water, making the doors water-proof. (They really thought of every detail, it's just so impressive!). The doors and tunnels were also made just to the size of the locals. The foreigners have bigger built so they couldn't fit into it. Even these 2 foreigners had to go into the ones that was made bigger!

We were also told that there were no markings whatsoever to the entrances too. The people actually find the places by memorizing where the doors were actually located. Surely not made for the weak minds, and even weaker spirit. During the war, both men and women would have a rifle on one hand, and a gardening tool on the other - to fight the enemy and to make food to survive.

A photo that captured the happiness in the harshness of war.
A couple welcoming their baby.

Miss oily face (trying my best not to make the panting visible here) with a photo of a prominent heroine that fought during the war after losing her parents.
She is now residing in Ho Chi Minh City, aged 60 plus.

Check us out in action!
Trying out the Kalashnikov!
He hit on the target once.
Moi? Well, not even close.
So not war material, the both of us! Sigh..

When 2 become 1

Question:
What do u get when you put my fav celeb..

with

my all time fav beautiful beast??

Answer:
The new Range Rover Evoque!
Ugh.. MAJOR LOVE!!!

I'm very excited! This came a little bit delayed on my end as usual because i'm such a busy woman ;p but here it is.
Mrs. Beckham was appointed as the creative consultant for the interior of the new Range Rover SUV and has even been named Top Gear magazine's Woman of the Year for the design. The car itself, was named Car of the Year by the magazine, in which Jeremy Clarkson (whom finding flaw is like his second nature) admitted that it was his favourite vehicle of 2011. Brilliant!

The stunning Evoque comes in a 5-door and a 3-door coupe with 2 turbo charged 4-cylinder engine choices: 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre turbo diesel. And the best part is, the prices are relatively lesser than the usual selling price of a Range Rover too. Still expensive, but much less expensive. Naturally here in
Malaysia, lesser door will cost more but a 5-door vehicle usually works best for a girl like me :)

I especially love it in the red and black sporty interior as well as in the classic truffle.
I need to wipe my drool off the floor after this........

yummms..

New egg on the block

Hey, guess what? I'm on twitter now! (Finally). I was in a dilemma to set up a twitter account (such drama to have a dilemma over such trivial stuff  like setting up a twitter account.. i know).

I'm clueless in the twitter world. Blogging is different. I like writing long... i need a lot of words, i love long phrases.. I just like the idea of throwing random words in the void  and babble about things and then look back whenever i feel like it. I just don't wanna bore people with things like.. what to have for dinner.. feel like having ice cream.. or tweeting something that annoys me that entail questions by concerned friends and ended up having to share my annoyance and explain the whole situation. I just feel that it's sometimes unnecessary (i'm a bit of a private person).. and i don't wanna caught myself saying things i can't take back. Basically, i'm just afraid that i might not be able to control myself la. Hehe.

My friends have been pressing me on this.. So what the heck, let's just do this..  See what other people are tweeting about and if i don;t like it i can just leave. And who knows, i might just like it too.

Then it was time to choose a username. This wasn't a breezy thing too. I've tried several:

azrarashid taken
azrara taken
azrarash sounds like i'm having a rash.. cancelled
azrashid doesn't sound right.. cancelled
nurazra taken
arzarun (nurazra spelled backwards) taken!
ladyq taken
ladyquixotic taken

then i got carried away...
ladyrara taken
ladylala taken
ladyqaqa also taken?!!

azramuz available
azramuza available
azra_rashid available
azramil available
ladyquixote available

And later i saw at the side of the username box, "Don't worry, you can change it later"... So there. I've joined some other 105,779,710 people on twitter. I'm a tweeter now. Is that what they call someone who tweets?

Medea

Me and 3 others went to watch a theatre at The Actors Studio, Lot 10 last night. It was the malay version of the ancient Greek myth, Medea. The play is about the revenge of a wife whose husband betrayed her by taking on another wife for wealth and power which ends with the tragic death of not only of the new bride but her own children too. (I thought it's pronounced as Ma-day-ah but the casts pronounced it as Media. As in publication/communication media, media).

The main cast, Azizah Mahzan delivered a very impactful act and i have to say my first time watching a malay play was not at all bad. (I haven't had the chance to go see PGL so i can't compare here. But then again, this is a small production). The background gamelan arrangement combined with short dikir barat performances was good too. All in all, a great performance. If interested, you might still stand a chance to catch the show till Oct 16th at The Actors Studio. Info here.

**The Actors Studio, Lot 10 opened in October last year, has a very nice ambience and has that KL Pac feel to it (outdoors) but i didn't get the chance to take any photos to be shared here as we were too busy trying to look for a place for dinner before the show starts. (Lot 10 has changed so much since we last visited, we were practically lost!). And did u know that the food court are now all non-halal? No wonder a chinese man had this puzzled look on his face when he saw our clueless faces :p

I'll leave you now with a photo of someone who happily drank off a shoe that night..

Goodbye...

How did December ends so fast?? A lot has happened this year..
Let's see...

It was definitely a year of travelling.
France in January (where we manage a short one to Manchester) and Andorra too.
A 2-day trip to Hong Kong (this was purely business & Dimsum :)) and a 6-day trip to London & Chester in March,
and the latest being Saigon last month.
All in 1 year!
And i realised that i don't have updates on any of them except for Toulouse and the short trip to Hong Kong.
There are lots to tell! Perhaps i shall put them up later. So to close 2009 :)

***

Started learning to play tennis..
...aaand have not been playing for 2 weeks now!
Jeremy (our instructor) said there is still hope for us, ladies can still be trained to be a pro before we turn 35. But if this keeps on, i doubt that that's gonna happen! As if! We just learned the backhand swing last lesson. Looks like it's back to forehand again after this.. sigh.

***

Took up beading class (or was this last year?) - and almost went blind!!
It was a full day basic course. By end of the lesson, i feel like my eyes were gonna explode! The SIL had kindly offered her clothes as guinea pigs and to date i've done 2 of her baju kurung. Suppose to do another 2 or 3 eh, Ilie? I pun dah lupa. I guess, i prefer baking to this lah.

***

Got a part time job to occupy my time.
Working fulltime at the office and working part time from home certainly has its pros and cons. And to tell you the truth, it's a lot easier to work in the office (fulltime) and i am not sure how long i can keep it up.
Flexibility can have its downside, i must say.
But i sure met some new people from many different areas (and became good acquaintances/friends with some of them) and that is a big plus about the job.
Being out there.

***
Learn to bake and took up cake decorating class..
(not to mention made some $ to boot! Woo! Though, not up to the point where it can turn me into a millionaire, but still).
This, i have elaborated enough in my previous posts. But i do plan to go for cookies deco class and fondant cupcakes too. God willing :D

***
Started another micro (read very small) side business while going travel.
This started only recently. It's pretty fun.
I'm supposed to go to Saigon again last Sunday but the husband and i are still feeling a bit under the weather. (I'm still down with fever as we speak). So the trip will have to wait.
I have another destination in mind for next month but since the Saigon trip is being pushed, we'll see.
At least there's a plan.

*********
And therefore, i shall conclude that it has been quite a productive year for me.
But aside from all the good events that has taken place, sadly, there are unfortunate ones too...

We lost 2 cats.
2 cats in a year. What are the odds? :'(
Lost Aslan while we were in Toulouse earlier this year after almost 3 years caring for him.
We had planned to bring him to the vet once we get back from Toulouse.
The last time i saw him was through the car window when we were leaving for France. He was sitting near his feeding bowl, looking at us leaving.
Aslan actually belonged to a neighbour of ours but loved staying at our place instead of its owner's. The owner calls him by the name Chocho and visited him whenever they pass by our house. They were saddened by the news too and gave us some of his photos to remember him by :')

And recently, we lost our litttle Scabby to leukemia.
We were already at the vet, trying to find a space to park the car when we received the phone call telling us that he had passed on.....
We picked him up when he was about 7 months old. He was a very playful one. That was what attracted us in the first place. He was busy chasing after a lizard when we saw him.
I'm not so much into cats, but i love kittens.. especially lively, playful ones.
Scabby was only about 2 years old when he died (that's only 14 human years).

***
Lost my dearest grandfather.
A great loss for me.
After being in and out of hospital, he finally succumbed to gastrointestinal bleeding on December 8th at 2.50pm. He was buried on the same day, died at the age of 82.
I'm just glad that i get to be with him that last day. It's weird since we (the husband, my cousin and i) were having breakfast together that morning and decided to go to visit him at the hospital right after instead of in the evening like we had planned. I guess God has his own way in laying out plans for us, don't u think?
Well, i'd like to think that he's in a better place now, insya Allah.

*********
So anyways, what's your new year's resolutions?
I have a few of my own..
Stay healthy (no matter what the weighing scale says), Live more, Try to make babies (of course :)) and Spread more LOVE!
Have a great new year ahead, everyone!
God Bless!

[Oh btw, if anyone interested in donating blood, please give me a buzz. Our family could really use your help. Thank you!]

Spring in December

What i'd like to say is that i am proud to be the first one to leave class this time.. heheh. I know, it's not a competition but it's a big achievement for me :D What motivated me? Well, i was running late to fetch the Mr! :P

Learner vs. Teacher
This is how the chrysanthemum should look like.
Mine, of course is the one looking like a tepee..

And here are some i've made for a friend.. (she was asking me why i didn't put them up on my blog. Honestly, i'm uber shy :)).
Here goes nothing..

For her mum in law's birthday.

Dadi translates mum in Pakistani.

Trying out mini hydrangeas.

For the sister.
Experimenting with bright hues.
Note to self: To use the bright colours for the lettering background next time.. i think it will look nicer.

And this is a simple one i made for the lil kid who "helped" me bake for my friend's order. Sorry you only got 3 pieces, Naufal. Next time, perhaps when Aunty Azra is able to work her hands faster!

Funny how it never occurred to me that i'd be doing this for a side income - especially given the fact that i don't bake. I actually went for the class because i received a request to make my nephew's birthday cake from the mother. I have another order this week, Alhamdulillah. It's true what they say, sometimes the best things happen when you least expected it ;)

Warning: High sugar content - Fondant fun 101

Went to another cake decorating class at Cake Connection last Thursday. This time, it's working with fondant. Like the Cupcake fun 101 class, we were provided with the recipe and given points on making the cake they prepared for us but the decorating part was hands on. Everything was breezy at the beginning. I was working pretty fast, kneading the plain white fondant by adding Kelly green mixed with Electric green, splitting the cake into 2 and filling it (i have to get one of those cake leveller. It's so easy to work with!) and icing the cake with a thin layer of buttercream but when it came to the decorating part, i got delayed.

First, because i had produced an oblong shape of fondant to cover the 6" round cake. So i had to start kneading and rolling all over again. It was quite a task i tell you! After several minutes had passed, i stopped rolling and asked Lynette, the instructor if my fondant was ready and she said, "it's still quite small for your cake". Sigh. Yeah, my patience was running thin at that point. "Please avoid re-kneading your fondant too many times, please", cried Lynette after checking one of the other girls. Obviously i wasn't the only one. Hehe. Fondant dries very quickly, so we had to work fast to prevent it from cracking due to dryness. You can't tell from the picture below, but my cake actually has some kind of (slight) "stretch marks" because it took me quite a while to work my hands on it. Huhuhu...

Lynette also demonstrated the crimping technique, which i didn't apply, not wanting to risk having ugly holes because i think it requires some practice and of course, time is of essence. In fact, none of us actually did any crimping on our cakes. She also showed us how to create borders from fondant cut outs, making sugar flowers from modelling paste and the quilling technique. We were given the chance to work with royal icing too. But the fact that we were instructed to make a stem and leaves for our sugar flowers using the white royal icing, i thought i'd continue when i get home. Reason being, i think it kind of spoils the look. (If this was a test i would obviously fail.. haha). Well, time was running out as i was just about done with my sugar flowers (Lynette told us to make 15 of 'em) when i decided to stop anyways.

When i got home, i realised that i had accidentally left the flowers behind. So i only had sebijik of the little pink sugar flower on my cake. Yep, one sad little pink sugar flower. My brother's maid sempat tanya, "bunga ni satu je kak?..". -__- However, the husband was kind enough to drive me to a place nearby to get the tools to make new ones from the leftover modelling paste i brought home. (Thanks, sweetness!). Here's the upshot(s) of my very first fondant cake (one, with a fan :P):

I thought the shade of green was rather too pale at first, but i kind of like it after it's all done :)

Have a sweet week ahead, everyone!

Making connection with (cup)cakes - Cupcake fun 101

I went for a cupcake decorating class at Cake Connection last week. It's located at Jaya One, PJ where you can find almost everything you need to make that cake of yours extraordinary all under one roof - sprinklers, toppers you name it! And i simply love the setting of the place. It's simple yet so chic!

We were taught and given tips on how to make basic vanilla cupcakes and buttercream frosting that will hold in our nice, hot weather. It was all exciting but i was pretty nervous as i have never attempted any kind of cake decorating (heck, i've only baked once in my lifetime!) and i know the underlying challenge for me particularly will be the TIME as time is (always) jealous of me and in this case, wars against my rosettes & my hydrangeas & swirls :)

Nancy, the instructor told us to treat the class therapeutic, but of course, i was all stressed out come end of the class! Struggling in between the messiness of
putting in the icing into the piping bag, practicing the techniques on the board and working on the cupcakes to finish on time. But i guess it somehow did have that therapeutic effect after all as one of my colleague said my energy was different that day. "You look happier than usual!", he said. Haha! Here's a visual of some of my finished product:

I've always loved the classic swirl. I would have done more swirls but due to time constraints, i was short for a refill.
And as for the purple Hydrangeas, it went straight onto the cupcake!

(no time for trials!)

Mussy. The kind of work i get when i do things fast!
(But mussy sometimes adds character, no?)

Is this your paradise?

I was asked to give a hand at her video certification shoot by this part-time gym instructor friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. It was a 60-minute stint and to be honest, it was my first experience stepping into a fitness club, that day. Wow, was i impressed with the people working diligently on the machines to stay in shape. I must admit that it did made me feel like working harder on my body (from home), if not sign up for the classes at the club!

As much as being the health-conscious person that i am, i don't go to the gym. Don't get me wrong, not that i am fully contented with the way i look, nor i have anything against those who work out at the gym. (Trust me, i have nothing but envy and utter admiration against those who gets to go the gym for a better build especially earning $$ to boot).

I get lots of questions as to why am i not a member despite being a close friend to a gym instructor.
So here's why:
1. i can't afford to be a member (i have other priorities on my list) especially now that i no longer attached to the company that subsidise the membership fee.
2. i was afraid that i'll be paying the fees but ended up not going or going only like once a month (because i'm shy? or just plain antisocial sometimes). So that would be a waste. And
3. i don't see going to the gym as the only way to stay healthy or get in shape. It helps, yes. But it's not the only means. Just imho.

So right now, i'll stick to my own weight-lifting routines (which i started since college days because i thought, i mean, i knew i was too skinny and wanted to -konon- improve my physique ;) - which i work at the convenience of my own time & pace if i may add) and the power walks that i do with my other half (when he's in the right mood) at our favourite park nearby - which reminds me, it has been a while now. I'll show you the next time because right now, i need to make a short run to the kitchen and put all that biceps and triceps (or whatever that is there) into whipping something up before he comes home. (Oh and plus, i now have a copy of the weight-lifting dvd, courtesy of the instructor friend :D)

In the mean time, stay healthy guys! Eat more veggie. That will help too ;)

p/s: in case if you're wondering, the title is given based on one of the tracks during the class.

My first Go at Karting

"I'll take you karting one day", he used to say to me. Several times over the years, whenever he engaged in conversations that involved the topic of Go Karting. "Yeah ok.." was simply my sentiment to the thoughtful gesture. Well, i finally get to get my hands behind the wheels the first time last weekend. It was an outing with the Kazzens and was a darn good experience. I was pretty nervous as the others are pretty good at it (winning competitions and all) and that i was the only one who have never sit in one before but i was there to experience it and just have fun, and serious fun we all had indeed (though i finished last in between struggling to get the hang of it and colliding with Edrin's kart, thank you, Edrin!). I just wished it lasted longer as when the momentum was about to set in in the second round, i saw the stupid red flag being waved motioning the unwelcome ending, that our 10 minutes were up. Sigh.

I take pleasure in attempting bold endeavours once in a while. I was suppose to go for the white water rafting at Kuala Kubu Baru last year but got disappointed when they (the former company i worked with) announced that they had to cancel it due to the continuous pouring rain in June that lead to the rising of the water level and refunded our money. I guess God above was trying to tell me to keep my feet on dry land.

Karting was really exciting (but expensive nonetheless), it also reminds me of driving home from work where i (sometimes) boost up the speed of my humble car just a tad (before the traffic builds up) to reach home. I miss that sometimes. :)

strapping up

see that lady in turquoise on the right?
she's one of those champions i mentioned earlier..

(& i think something got into my cousin's eyes)

that's moi leading with hubby right behind me, followed by my kid bro..
hahaha.. NOT!

me... in the lead again.. :P
(on the right: kid bro spun hahahaha..)

was a good Sunday evening
- & i am all set for a second outing
(little Harris was there too - in his own kart)
